Stanford University launched an investigation to uncover Lennay’s true identity. After a few weeks, they realized that “Lennay” was Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, an acquaintance of Jovi’s husband. He confessed to having used a classmate’s picture to pretend to be Lennay Kekua, and in the process, he fell in love with Manti Te’o. The images used belonged to a lady named Diane O’Meara, Tuiasosopo’s high school classmate.
