Ellery Hicks is the daughter of American journalists Hannah Storm and Dan Hicks. She was born on August 24, 1998, in the United States of America. Ellery has two siblings, sisters Hannah Hicks and Riley Hicks. Ellery has quite a good relationship with her family members; she often accompanies her mother to essential events.

Her Mother

Ellery’s mother grew up looking up to her father, a sports executive, Mike Storen. After completing her studies at the University of Notre Dame, Hannah Storm started working at a radio station in Corpus Christi, Texas. Months later, she landed a job at KSRR 97 Rock, where she was a sportscaster and a traffic reporter.

For most of the 1980s, Ellery’s mother stayed in Houston, Texas, where she worked for various television and radio stations. In 1989 Hannah Storm joined CNN, hosting CNN Sports Tonight for three years. While at CNN, she also reported for spring training, the Daytona 500 and hosted Major League Baseball Preview.

Over the years, Ellery’s mother has worked for various stations, including NBC Sports, where she hosted NBA, WNBA and Olympic Games. In 2008, Hannah Storm joined ESPN, where she became the news anchor for SportsCenter and has been the host since then.
